Tasks and responsibilities:
- Creation of modules and unique geometry for levels. Work with modular assets, masks and UE4 materials.
- Ability to work with tiles and trims workflow.
- Deep knowledge in materials setting.
- Instancing of locations – architecture and props.
- Work with atmosphere and overall feeling.
- Team player with superb communication skills.
Necessary skills and experience:
- Experience with game engines such as Unreal, Cryengine, etc.
- 3+ years of experience in AA+ game development on a similar position.
- Good understanding of light, composition, color-coding.
- Intermediate experience with any 3D modeling package.
- Understanding modular design.
- Understanding of level design metrics
- Understanding resource balancing and experience in optimizing scenes.
- Experience with Jira/Miro/Perforce is a plus.
Silny kandydat ma:
- Artistic/architectural/engineering education or background.
- Versatility in used tools and performed tasks.
- Scripting experience with Unity and/or blueprint experience in Unreal.
- Understanding of both modern and legacy real-time rendering tech and lighting principles.
- Knowledge of additional software is a plus (ZBrush, World Machine, Speedtree, Houdini, etc.).
- Hardcore FPS gamer and passion in games.
- Proactive attitude.
