Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Creation of modules and unique geometry for levels. Work with modular assets, masks and UE4 materials.
  • Ability to work with tiles and trims workflow.
  • Deep knowledge in materials setting.
  • Instancing of locations – architecture and props.
  • Work with atmosphere and overall feeling.
  • Team player with superb communication skills.

Necessary skills and experience:

  • Experience with game engines such as Unreal, Cryengine, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience in AA+ game development on a similar position.
  • Good understanding of light, composition, color-coding.
  • Intermediate experience with any 3D modeling package.
  • Understanding modular design.
  • Understanding of level design metrics
  • Understanding resource balancing and experience in optimizing scenes.
  • Experience with Jira/Miro/Perforce is a plus.

Silny kandydat ma:

  • Artistic/architectural/engineering education or background.
  • Versatility in used tools and performed tasks.
  • Scripting experience with Unity and/or blueprint experience in Unreal.
  • Understanding of both modern and legacy real-time rendering tech and lighting principles.
  • Knowledge of additional software is a plus (ZBrush, World Machine, Speedtree, Houdini, etc.).
  • Hardcore FPS gamer and passion in games.
  • Proactive attitude.
